Cancellation & Refund Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY

In the event of cancellation of booking by Client, a written notice must be provided. We require a cancellation request to be submitted by emailing us at info@beautifulsunborneo.com or WhatsApp us at +6016-555 3783 (Andy Markelle) / +6012-826 378 (Stephanie Chong).

The following are the policies to be eligible for cancellation requests:

  • Bad weather conditions
  • Unforeseen circumstances (e.g. Landslide or Politicians Events)
  • Physical discomfort (must certified by a doctor)

We reserve the right to reject any cancellation, refund that is deemed unfit or unreasonable.

The following cancellation charges must be borne by the Client and the travelling companions as follows: 

Number of days between tour commencement and receipt of cancellation notice:

Less than 04 days or No Show

100% of tour cost forfeited

04 to 07 days

95% of tour cost forfeited

08 to 14 days

85% of tour cost forfeited

15 to 29 days

75% of tour cost forfeited

30 days or more

  • 40% of tour cost forfeited (all tour bookings)
  • 50% of tour cost forfeited (standard Mount Kinabalu climb bookings)

Once the cancellation request is received, a partial refund will be initiated. 

REFUND POLICY

There would be no refunds for cancellation after the tour has commenced or for any unused tour services including but not limited to transfer, meals & accommodation, sightseeing or any other services not utilized. 

In the event that there is a refund required, the refund will be credited to you in the same method as your payment. Please note that refunds will take up to 90 – 120 working days to process.

Kindly contact your card-issuing bank with regards to the duration of the credit refund.
